Effective date: 8 October 2026
1. General policy
Flight bookings made through Get The Flight Out are final once confirmed and ticketed. They cannot be refunded or changed, except where the law requires otherwise or Get The Flight Out expressly agrees in writing. These terms apply to requests you choose to make and do not remove the rights passengers have by law.
2. Cancellations and refunds you ask for
Get The Flight Out does not normally give a refund when you cancel, change your mind, cannot travel or decide not to use your tickets. You can send us a request to review, but we do not guarantee that a cancellation or refund can be arranged. Any refund we agree to give is subject to our written approval and may be reduced by supplier charges, penalties and the service fees we have told you about, as far as the law allows.
3. Flight changes and amendments
As standard, bookings cannot be changed. Get The Flight Out does not have to approve a change you ask for to dates, times, routes, destinations, passenger details or airlines. We may look at a request case by case, subject to the airline's or supplier's rules, availability and our written approval. A difference in fare, airline charges, supplier fees and administration fees may apply, and in some cases there may be nothing extra to pay. We tell you any amount payable before an approved change is made. A request is not confirmation of a change.
4. Airline cancellations and disruption
Where an airline cancels a flight, makes a significant change to its schedule or causes disruption, any rights you have by law to a refund, rerouting, assistance or compensation are not affected. The airline responsible and Get The Flight Out will each meet their legal obligations. Nothing in this policy excludes any liability or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
5. Exceptional circumstances
We may look at a medical emergency, a missed flight, travel restrictions or other unusual circumstances individually. Reviewing a request does not guarantee that we will approve it. Any exception must be confirmed by Get The Flight Out in writing, and it does not set a precedent or create an entitlement for another booking.
6. Fees and charges
Booking, processing and service fees may not be refundable, as far as the law and the terms we gave you at booking allow. Where we approve an exception, we explain any deductions or extra charges that apply.
7. Requests in writing and confirmation
Please send refund, cancellation and amendment requests in writing, with your booking reference and what you would like us to do. Your existing booking stays in place unless we confirm a cancellation or change in writing. Please check passenger names, dates, destinations and the other details before you book.
8. Accepting this policy and your legal rights
We give you this policy before you pay, and it forms part of the terms of your booking. Nothing in it limits rights that cannot be excluded under consumer, travel or passenger protection law. Any more favourable rights you have by law, or terms we have agreed with you in writing, take priority.
